The facility consists of 90 fully equipped, self-contained units that include a shared living and dining area, full kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms for two to six students. Deirdre Jordan Village also provides a community centre (with a large common room, seminar rooms and a music room), two central laundries, and outdoor recreation and barbecue areas.

Tract worked with the existing topography and vegetation where possible to declutter spaces and improve safety and aesthetics. Rock mulch and ballast were used to stabilise areas and provide informal travel paths for students. Balustrades and fencing were designed and positioned to guide students along paths and away from steeper areas.
